How long is your workmanship warranty
and is it transferable?

Clermont Roofing offers a 5-year workmanship warranty on shingle roofs and it is completely transferable. The warranty stays with the house which is also a good resale advantage.

Do you carry insurance?

Clermont Roofing carries both liability and workers compensation insurance on all employees. When other contractors use subcontractors, they cannot be sure those workers are covered.

Do you belong to the BBB?

Clermont Roofing is an Accredited member of the Better Business Bureau.

Do you require a deposit?

Clermont Roofing requires no deposit on residential roof projects. This means you pay nothing until your roof is completed.

Do you pull the permits?

Clermont Roofing pulls all permits needed for the job and the fees are included in your contract price. If a contractor asks a homeowner to pull the permit for them, this should put up a red flag, and the customer should ask why.

Are licenses held by owner of the company?

Clermont Roofing licenses are held by Patrick Scott who is the owner of the company.

What shingle manufacturers
are you certified to install?

Clermont Roofing is certified to install Certainteed, Owens Corning and GAF-ELK.

What is the dry-in process?

Clermont Roofing covers the whole roof deck with 30lb felt underlayment per local building codes and manufacturer’s specifications. Peel & stick self sealing underlayment is also available as an option at an additional charge.

Do you use sub-contractors?

Clermont Roofing does not use any sub-contractors. All employees work for us and are fully insured.

Is your flat roof installed
per manufactures specifications?

Clermont Roofing is a certified installer for Firestone and GAF products. Installation of a flat roof is per local building codes and manufacturer’s specifications. We use the latest in technologies.

What is your clean-up policy?

Clermont Roofing cleans up debris daily along with sweeping the grounds with a magnet. In addition, our supervisor will check the job each day, and then perform a final inspection at the end of the project.
